The Export and Import Industry has surpassed tourism as the State of Florida’s largest industry since Florida is literally the “Gateway” to the Latin American markets. With the passage of NAFTA, CAFTA, and the ANDIAN FREE TRADE AGREEMENT, and the elimination of trade tariffs and import quotas, RPI, out of its Florida Office, is uniquely positioned to participate and expand its export base in an ever-growing market. The Miami Airport has overtaken all others in the United States as the “Number One” international cargo-handling airport. The Port of Miami and Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, are breaking record after record in expansion statistics. Our Florida office is in close proximity to the Airport, as well as to the Ports of Miami and Ft. Lauderdale.
